Sustainable food systems and indigenous vegetables | The Nakuru case – Sustainable Agrifood Systems Strategies (SASS)
Di SASS

The “Sustainable Agrifood Systems Strategies (SASS)” multidisciplinary programme, funded by the Italian Ministry of Research, aims to build knowledge, policy dialogue and partnerships contributing to sustainable food systems at national, regional and international levels, based on three research locations in Kenya and Tanzania.

The SASS programme is a consortium initiative by the European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM), the University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB), the University of Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UNICATT), the University of Pavia (UNIPV) and the University of Gastronomic Sciences (UNISG).

The aim of the present e-book is to introduce the preliminary research results from SASS, between 2017 and 2019, about the food system in the southern Nakuru area in Kenya.
